Yes, you can, but it is not necessary. Thanks to the purity of our product, Brilliant has a 4 year shelf life before opening. Also note that Brilliant Salmon Oil is an extra virgin oil, which means that the oil may separate if stored chilled. The oil will normalize once back to room temperature. We recommend storge in room temperature.

Once your salmon oil bottle is open, use within 4 months for maximum freshness.

You absolutely can! Cats love our salmon oil. Start off with half a pump and gradually rise the dose to the recommended daily allowance.

Absolutely! As a puppy’s stomach can be more sensitive, we recommend starting with half the recommended dosage (see details on bottle – 1 pump per 3kg) for the first 2 weeks. Then, increase the dose to the recommended amount, or to the level that seems to suit your puppy best.

Brilliant Salmon Oil is produced from fresh salmon offcuts (head, skin and bones) from local farmers. These offcuts were previously regarded as waste, but is now upcycled into our proprietary process to produce high quality pet food toppers instead. We make sure nothing goes to waste.

It is very unusual for dogs to vomit from eating salmon oil, but it is possible. If this happens to your dog, try having a break for a few days and then starting with 1/4 of the recommended dose. Vomiting from salmon oil can happen if your dog is already getting a good amount of fat in its diet already.
